Are you a serious student who wants to be involved and help others while learning? Interested in working alongside healthcare professionals? Volunteering at General Hospital may be just the place for you. Our Junior Volunteer Program will provide you with the experience of working in a medical setting.

Students are self-referred or referred by their High School Career Counselors to volunteer at the Medical Center. Students are trained by the Junior Volunteer Program Coordinator and upon completion of orientation are placed in their area of interest.

All of the services provided by the volunteers are valuable. Volunteering can become a challenging and lifelong experience.

Orientations are held on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
